Cathy Code, Ministry rep, says the video’s theme is economic development, in particular what Valemount is doing to diversify and build. They interviewed half a dozen people, including Mayor Andru McCracken. She says Valemount has many things in common with other BC communities and can serve as a source of inspiration for communities struggling with similar issues.
Code says they will be filming videos in other communities as well, though she wasn’t sure yet which ones. The Valemount video will be uploaded to the government’s YouTube
channel when completed.
