RCMP have recorded at least four sightings of a streaker over the past two months along the highway north of Valemount.
On Sept. 6th Valemount RCMP received a report of a male streaking near the Swift Creek rest stop. The man was gone when police arrived.
On Oct. 3rd Valemount RCMP were called to Mount Robson for a report of a male streaker. The man had left by the time police arrived.
On Oct. 4th Valemount RCMP were called to the Terry Fox rest stop for a report of a male streaker. Again, the man had left by the time police arrived.
During the mid-afternoon of Oct. 18th, Valemount RCMP received a complaint from a motorist who saw an older, partially bald man running around naked near the Mount Terry Fox Lookout along Hwy 16, in Mount Robson Park. RCMP attended the scene but the male suspect managed to elude police.
Several similar complaints have been reported to the RCMP and anyone with information as to the identity of this individual, is asked to contact the Valemount Detachment.
