Sixty motorcycles with over 80 riders arrived at George Hicks Park last Friday, part of the Revving up for Kids Tour. The Tour raises money for children living with cancer and goes from Calgary to Jasper, Kamloops, Golden and back. Every bike carried a teddy bear in honour of a sponsored child. The bikers arrived under gloriously clear skies and gratefully stopped for goodies and refreshments donated by The Gathering Tree and the Valemount IGA. Every bike carried a teddy bear, representing a sponsored child. To learn more about the tour, or to donate, visit www.kidswithcancer.ca.
