In late April Ron and Linda Wood lost their barn to fire. However the McBride Community rallied this weekend and a new barn was created the old fashioned way. Many hands make light work was the motto and several folks gathered to create a new barn in the ashes of the old. While men pounded nails, the women prepared food to keep the volunteers going.
Using donated lifts and brad nailers and other equipment the project came together quickly. By nightfall the new barn had arisen thanks to all who helped.
