McBride, Valemount, Jasper and Armstrong battle it out on the ice Dec. 10-12 in the 7-game tournament.
On the first night of the tournament, Friday night, Valemount narrowly won against Armstrong 6-5 after a tense 20-minute overtime. Valemount was two players down halfway through OT due to penalties, but still managed two break-aways while short-handed. Halfway through the last period, Valemount scored, then Armstrong returned a goal, and finally Valemount scored another goal. Both goalies made a number of tremendous saves.
